INRstar Training - Refresher Courses

Each course should take around 2 hours to complete. You can break from and return to the course at any point.

Each course consists of 7 topics, comprising of a learning module and a quiz.

Each learning module will firstly show an 'Overview' of the topic, then a 'Show you how' section, with a more detailed explanation of the necessary steps, followed by a 'Try for yourself' section to allow you to practice the process yourself.

You should complete each learning module before you attempt the associated quiz. Once you have completed all 7 modules & quizzes, you'll be able to download your certificate.

This course is for INRstar user roles of Clinical Levels 1 and 2

  • Adding Patients - explains how to avoid duplicating patients and how to use other systems to create the demographic details
  • Add Simple INR - the basic process in INRstar
  • Add Complex INR - what happens when a patient has missed a dose or changed other medication
  • Add Historical INR - when to add and when not to add a historical treatment record
  • Add Out-of-range INR - how to refer, then complete, the treatment when the INR is out of range
