Digital reviews

NICE guidelines recommend that patients on a DOAC should be monitored at least every 3 months. The DOAC support programme gives you more visibility of your patients via digital reviews.

Patients learn to submit reviews and receive reminders when these are due via the engage app. A simple 8-step process to submit their digital review is then completed. The engage app guides them through this process with easy-to-follow instructions and video reminders of the topics covered.

Patients self-report to you if they have:
  • Experienced any side effects
  • Missed any tablets
  • Experienced any bleeding or clot symptoms

They can also add comments before submitting their digital reviews directly to INRstar via the engage app. You can view and schedule these in INRstar.
